While
Austin is finishing up his debut album for Interscope Records, we made sure to
catch up with him. We got the chance to ask Austin what he’s up to and ask
about his life and forthcoming album. We did an exlcusive interview for Jackson
Magazine, a 2008 collector item that we're working on to be published by the end
of this year that will highlight all news of the Jacksons in 2008, articles on
the releaes, more exlcusive interviews with family members and lots more! ANyway,
for now, make sure to listen to a short clip of Austin saying what he's up to

Hey
everyone thank you so much for the support
that’s been in here for me. I got some
more info for y’all coming up so I’m
gonna keep you posted. I think somebody
asked me my favorite place to visit in the
states my favorite place besides home in L
A probably is New York which is my second
home. My MySpace will be back up this week
with info on me, my record, as well as
working with Cory Rooney and Rodney
Jerkins and being part of the Cory Rooney
group. I feel blessed to have work with
these legendary producers who have helped
shaped pop music. Cory is like my 7th
uncle and Rodney is like my brother and
they have helped me discover who I am
musically. There was a time when people
doubted my passion and my work I’ve
never had anything given to me, I’ve
worked my ass off for my career so that’s
why its been such a long journey. But at
the end of the day, it helps you
appreciate what your working towards now
that I’m at a point finally where things
are coming through and coming together
I’ve had to sit and look back and truly
appreciate the love I get from all of you
here. It helps me to work harder, thank
you for believing in me and most important
thank you for being patient with me. If it
was up to me I would of had my first out
in 04 but things happen people deceive you
and they try to put obstacles in front of
you. The thing is, it’s up to you to see
if you’re gonna give up or push forward,
so I pushed and I see that now things are
supposed to happen the way they are now
and now I’m more mature and musically
more ready than ever to take on the task
of keeping my family legacy alive!!!! LOVE
you guys Austin........thanks for letting
me vent lol |
